This MATLAB project models a portable hydroelectric turbine to explore how flow velocity, blade pitch angle, and turbine radius influence power generation and efficiency.
The simulation provides both 3D surface plots and interactive contour maps, allowing users to visualize performance in real time.

At typical flow conditions (≈ 4 m/s, 45° blade angle), the 0.25 m-radius turbine achieved roughly 95 W of electrical power output (assuming 90 % generator efficiency).
Larger radii proportionally increased output, confirming the model’s scalability trend.
